Next April, Irta Group will participate in Expo Empaque Norte, one of the most important events for the packaging industry in Mexico. We will be present at stand 109 with our technologic partner where we will showcase technological innovations aimed at productive efficiency, operational flexibility, and competitiveness in packaging processes.
Mexico, a strategic market for Irta Group
In recent years, Mexico has become a key hub in Irta Group’s international strategy. Growth in the country has been steady, with more than 20 automation projects successfully developed alongside local producers, contributing to the optimization of vertical packaging processes in different industrial sectors.
The trust placed in us by Mexican companies reflects the unique value of our technological solutions, as well as our ability to adapt to the specific requirements of each customer. Currently, our packaging lines are operational in applications as diverse as ice, rice, and short pasta, demonstrating the versatility of our technologies.
Looking ahead to 2026, we plan to consolidate our expansion in the country through new strategic projects. Among these, the launch of a complete chocolate chip packaging line for the Mexican subsidiary of a major international company in the bakery, pastry, and chocolate sector, scheduled for June, stands out. This facility will allow up to five different bag formats to be processed on a single machine, covering ranges from 1 to 12.5 kilograms.

Expansion aligned with regional development
Growth in Mexico is part of a broader consolidation strategy in Latin America. Irta Group currently has a presence in ten countries in the region and continues to strengthen its commercial and technical structure with the aim of offering a more localized, agile, and specialized service.
This expansion is supported by the implementation of innovative solutions designed to adapt to the specific production characteristics and consumer trends of each market.
Innovative solutions for established and emerging formats
During Expo Empaque Norte, Irta Group will focus on technologies capable of responding to both traditional formats and new global market demands.
On the one hand, it will present Carrusel technology, designed to maximize performance in square packaging, one of the most established formats in the sector, reaching production rates of up to 50 bags per minute.
Also noteworthy is the VX STB DOY machine, a solution developed by Irta Group for the manufacture of high-demand flexible formats such as doypack. This equipment combines versatility, productivity, and sealing quality, also allowing the production of multiple additional formats—top-sealed bags, pillow bags, stand-up pouches, and four-seal bags—on the same machine. Its options also include zipper, euro-hole, and easy-open systems, providing added value in terms of differentiation and logistics optimization.
